About Us

The Marion County Chamber of Commerce welcomes you to our website and thanks you for your interest in our community.

Nestled between the scenic Tennessee River and beautiful mountain ranges, Marion County is conveniently located on Interstate 24, 25 miles west of Chattanooga and 100 miles southeast of Nashville. Our residents enjoy the luxury of peaceful country living just a short drive from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan life.

While the beauty of our county is important, ensuring our economic climate remains strong and vibrant for generations to come is a top priority. This is why we place high value on sustainability, innovation, and workforce development. Our membership is working collectively to create a strong economic climate and healthy community.

Whether you live in Marion county or are simply visiting, you will find that our commitment to our heritage is on display not only in local museums, but also through the events and activities we host, including the National Cornbread Festival and Ketner’s Mill Country Arts & Crafts Fair. Residents and visitors alike have a host of amenities from which to choose including boutique shopping and eclectic dining as well as outdoor activities like boating, fishing or internationally recognized rock climbing opportunities. Beautiful scenery coupled with a diverse and wonderfully talented community create an exceptional quality of life for residents. Visitors beware — spend time here and you may decide to call Marion County home.
