The National Cornbread Festival is a weekend-long celebration of cornbread and many cornbread related activities for adults and kids. At the end of every April, the quaint town of South Pittsburg explodes with family-friendly games, food, music and fun, including a 5k road race and free tours of the Lodge foundry. Visit Site

The National Cornbread Festival is a weekend-long celebration of cornbread and many cornbread related activities for adults and kids.  This festival is put on by the hundreds of volunteers in South Pittsburg and surrounding towns.  The last full weekend in April, the quaint town of South Pittsburg explodes with events for everyone!  Music, arts & crafts, a 5k road race, a Fondo (bicycle ride) free tours of the Lodge Cast Iron foundry, a carnival, a large variety of CORNBREAD and many other food venders.
